In Loving Memory
on Father's Day

With Father's day coming up on Sunday,
I keep feeling the urge to buy my dad a Father's Day card.
Since that is no longer an option, I wanted to show my love
and appreciation to the most wonderful DAD in the world in a different way.
"I will always remember all that you did for me
and the unconditional love you always showed me.
I miss you every day, but I know I'll see you again someday!"
Love, Daddy's Baby Girl

An Oversight - I have other family members too!

The other day I was looking at my page and noticed that there are very important
people in my life that were missing. This is my other nephew, Donovin.
He is wearing my StunnaShades that my friend from CA gave me when I went to visit him. You'll probably hear more about him later.

This is Donovin and his mom, Gerice.
To catch some of you up, Gerald and I are separated, but my relationship with his family remains very strong. They will always be my family but more importantly, MY friends.

There's a local Mexican restaurant that has $0.50 Tacos every Monday Night.
It has become a standing dinner engagement to all of our friends and family to join us there.
We always have to wait 10-20 minutes for a table, and it's totally worth it.
Donovin is patiently waiting in the cold for his "tac-tos"!

Donovin got a new bike for Christmas and he loves riding it around their new house.
Like I said before, I can't believe that I left them off my page. Sorry guys!
You know I love you!

Mark and Mitchell's Birthdays

Mark turned one while they were in Oklahoma. His Birthday was at a local favorite restaurant, Johnnie's. I was fortunate to be there also. It was a western theme. The picture's kinda blurry, but he's holding horse and there's a cactus in the background. Jeny is so creative!

Two weeks later, back in Birmingham, Mitchell turned three. I was lucky enough to be there for that too! His big mommy and daddy present was a tent with a crawling tube that connected to one side of it. We had fun crawling inside the tent, and Jeny even made it through the tunnel. What a mom!
And Mitchell was nice enough to let Mark David play in it too. He was like a wild child crawling all around the inside and trying to get out and then back in.

California Vacation

April 8-12 I took a vacation to visit a friend in Sacramento, CA. This was my first time to ever visit California and it was so beautiful. It was sunny and rainy a little bit every day I was there but it was still wonderful there.

One day we went to Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. While trying to get downtown we passed the beach. It was a little rainy, a lot windy, and very cool, but I managed to get a pretty good picture of the beach and the ocean anyway.

We also passed by several bays(1-38, to be exact) and you can see the golden gate bridge in the background of this picture. If you look closely, I accidentally got a picture of the rainbow too.

I had alot of fun and I hope to post more pictures soon.

Backtracking

I finally finished all the posts for the pictures that Jeny put on my page for me. I tried to put actual dates so . . . . To see new pictures that are now on my page, you'll have to go back to the December 05 archives.

Noccalula Falls

For those of you who don't know, me and Jeny are only two hours away from each other. We discovered a cool little place half way in between Chattanooga and Birmingham. The Alabama town called Gadsden is the home of a state park called Noccalula Falls. There are ducks to feed, a petting zoo, trails that aren't really stroller friendly, (trust me we tried it) a stream area, A huge waterfall where a native american named Noccalula jumped to her death because she could not be with her true love, a great playground/park area, a mall where we end up spending most of our time and alot of money, and a great mexican food restaraunt that we have eaten at consistently.

On this particular trip, it was very muddy and we were playing near the falls. Mitchell got some mud on his pants, making it look like he had a gross accident. How could you resist a photo opp. like that. We all have embarrassing baby pictures, but since I don't have my own children, I'll just contribute to the traumatization of my nephews.
