Glamour Gals

The older I get the more I realize that no one ever really grows up. I remember me and Jeny and Mindy playing with grandma's jewelry when we were younger. It was so much fun! When it gets late, and the children are in bed, it amazing what you can get in to , especially at grandma's house.

Even grandma couldn't resist joining us and playing dress up with her own jewelry.
Notice her "red hat" that we found!

christmas 2005 at the Roberts

Neil and Jeny got me a sewing machine for Christmas. I guess you never stop aspiring to be like your big sister! Or maybe she just got tired of me always bringing pants to be hemmed every time I visit.

Aren't those outfits cute! Jeny is quite the seamstress. And, she even let me sew on the buttons for both outfits.

Christmas would not be complete without some great mother daughter cooking moments. Jeny was Head Chef, but me and mom helped.

MY personal favorite was the asparagus soup. It was bright green. I think Mitchell is the only 2 year old in the world that will try pretty much whatever you put in front of him. It was actually really good!

Mtichell was nice enough to let me play with him (actually, watch him play) while he played with his new Christmas toys.

christmas photo shoot

In mid December, I had the honor of being the photo assisitant for the Robert's boys photo shoot. It was a little cold, and mark was fascinated with the grass and Mitchell was, . . . let's just say . . . he was being his "independent" self.

Needless to say, we ended up giving alot of candy bribes & taking alot of random pictures with hopes to catch both boys in a picture perfect pose. I guess these would be the bloopers of the photo shoot.

This was probably during a candy break or a 2 year old maniac break! I didn't mind. It gave me a chance to get some Marky time.

I'm Finally Blogging Too!

Wow, I can't believe that I'm the last one of my family to join in on the blogging experience. Usually, I am the one showing them stuff about new technological activities. Anyway, I felt I needed to join in especially if Jeny, my big sister, with two small children has time, surely I can make time to keep people updated with the goings on in The Metropolis of Chattanooga, TN. My life is relatively uneventful, compared to my previously mentioned sister, but I will let you all know of major events when I feel the need.
